HMS Veterans Day

HMS will be holding a Veterans Day recognition on Friday, November 11th beginning at 9:30AM in the main gym, followed by a brunch to honor our local Veterans.  The brunch will take place in the upper gym immediately following the assembly.  Students who have relatives participating in ceremony will be allowed to visit with family members that are staying for the reception. 

Red Ribbon Week  (10/24 - 10/28)

Monday: TAKE A STAND AGAINST DRUGS! Wear Red to kick off the week. Last day to purchase a smoothie for Friday.

Tuesday: Dress for Success. Wear your best clothing!

On November 11th HMS will be recognizing our local veterans with our annual program.  This is a tremendous opportunity for our community to show our appreciation for those that have served to help preserve freedom in the United States.  As in past years, we will be holding a brief morning presentation, and new for 2016, we are looking for veterans that would be willing to spend all or part of the day in social studies classrooms speaking with our students.  Our goal is to provide students with the chance to hear the stories dire

7th Grade Boys Basketball Tryouts have changed to Tuesday (Oct. 11) - Thursday (Oct. 13) after school in the Main Gym from 3:30 to 5:15 (must be picked up by 5:30).

8th Grade Boys Basketball Tryouts remain the same time at 6:30am from Tuesday-Thursday.

Dear Parents of Hampshire Middle School Students,

Hampshire Middle School is currently experiencing a partial power outage. ComEd has identified the cause of the outage and has communicated it may take up to six hours to fully restore power.

All Hampshire Middle School students have the opportunity to receive a school lunch, use the bathroom, and access drinking water.

Some portions of the building are experiencing ventilation issues. Students in these classrooms have been moved into areas of the building that have proper ventilation.
