Beta Club
What is Beta Club?
Hampshire Middle School's National Junior Beta Club is a nonprofit, leadership-service club. This clubs sole purpose is to encourage effort and reward merit, and to promote qualities of character that makes for good citizenship. You must be a worthy character, have good mentality, credible achievement and a commendable attitude in order to join Beta Club. In order to stay in Beta Club, you need to be active, respectful, and have good leadership skills. This organization requires at least a 3.5 grade point average in the previous year in order to be accepted. The individual membership fee is ten dollars. When a Junior Beta members receive a certificate of membership, a membership card, a membership pin, a subscription to the Junior Journal. Students also receive recognition for their achievement in a national organization.
